Shopping on the net, learning with the tablet or family celebrations via video telephony: Digitization is changing our everyday life and our professional life profoundly and at high speed – in the corona pandemic even faster than ever before. Everyone must be able to move safely and independently in the digital world. With the aim of promoting digital participation for everyone, 27 organizations from the fields of civil society, culture, science, business, welfare and the public sector have come together in the “Digital for All” initiative. On June 18, the alliance is organizing the second nationwide day of action for digital participation. Numerous events in Germany show ways to digital participation and create spaces for debates. More than 500 events in various formats for digital participation in all areas of society have already been announced.
