The expansion course of the Dorint Hotel Group is moving forward. A long-term lease agreement was signed with the owners Helga Welfonder and Willibert Plum. Mirko Kaiser will manage the Dorint Boutique Hotel as host.
The young lifestyle brand “Essential by Dorint” opened its tenth hotel with 118 rooms including four barrier-free rooms in five categories near the Cologne Trade Fair Centre on 1 October 2021. The lifestyle hotel offers a breakfast restaurant and a lounge bar. It is located near the North Entrance to the fair and is connected to the fair via a shuttle service. For business travellers, the three-star superior hotel is also conveniently connected to event venues and exhibitions in the immediate vicinity.
Each floor has its own design concept focussing art and culture. Dorint Managing Director Karl-Heinz Pawlizki: “We are pleased to be able to further expand our young lifestyle brand “Essential by Dorint”. It is exactly the right moment to grow again, especially as the business is picking up again in all segments – especially here in Cologne.”
